CLINTON LOVIC ADAMS, (son of Lovic Erastus Adams and Ruth Jackson) was born in Heflin, Alabama. He married Sara McCord. He received a BS in Engineering from Auburn and served in the Army under General Patton in France during WWII where he was wounded. Besides serving considerable time in the military, he also worked in the business world, primarily with a construction materials firm named Vulcan Materials Company headquartered in Birmingham. His wife, Sara, died July 13, 1996 in Montgomery, AL.
