Lovic Erastus Adams (son of John T Adams and Nancy) was born 1876 and died March 1959. He married (1) Lemma. He married (2) Ruth Jackson.  Lenna was born in 1878 in Alabama.  Ruth was born 1886 in Alabama.

 Notes for Lovic Erastus Adams:
Lovic was a tall dignified man of the old school and South, with practically no sense of humor, very firm and stern, but never raised his voice. He smoked both cigars and pipes, but preferred the pipe. His favorite tobacco was Mixture 79. During the summer he always dressed in white linen suits and hats. Loved to hunt with his two dogs. He loved to garden and planted all types of flowers, but his pride and joy were his roses. He also had a grape arbor and grew pecan trees, ferns and pussy willows. Had the distinction of being the youngest sheriff of Cleburne County at 17. Upon moving to Birmingham, Alabama he became a Claims Agent for the Southern Railroad. Upon retirement from the railroad he joined his brother Vernon L. Adams in the coal business Adams Coal Company.
