John Barbee, born 7 Aug 1906 and died Nov 1985, was son of John N. and Pearl M. Barbee. 

He married Elisabeth Vose, daughter of Alice Owsley and Walter Manley Vose born 26 May 1910 in Illinois; died 17 June 2006 in Volusia County, Florida.    

His father was engaged in Plumbing Supplies and was native Kentuckian.

In 1962 they moved to Florida to be closer to her parents.
