Joseph Bledsoe

Joseph, son of William Bledsoe, was born 1732 in Virginia and died in 1801 in Cumberland, KY.  He was married on 3 Nov 1759 in Spotsylvania, Virginia to Elizabeth Miller.  

Elizabeth, daughter of Col. William Miller and Jane Hord, was born 1741 and died 7 Feb 1799.  Col Miller left his estate to Elizabethand she passed her estate was divided between their children.

Joseph married (2nd)  Elizabeth Shelton.  

Joseph served in the French & Indian War .

Revolutionary War Patrotic Service

     Fredsburg: 6 Nov 1781 Received from Joseph Bledsoe. Esq. one beef weighing 131 pounds, for public use, 1.1.10 pounds.

Veteran of Indian Warfare after 1782.
