Joseph C Bledsoe

Joseph was the son of William Miller Bledsoe (son of Joseph Bledsoe and Elizabeth Miller)  and Elizabeth Craig.  He was born September 29, 1782 in Spotsylvania Co. Virginia and died 1829 in Clay County Kentucky.

He married Margaret Pearson Powell on 7 May 1807 in Garrard Co. Kentucky.  Margaret was born 1787 in Virginia and died after the 1860 census Missouri.

 

War of 1812 Military Service

Private in Captain Thomas Laughlin's Company Kentucky Mtd. Volunteer Militia and Private in Taul's 7th Reg. KMVM.

 

1810 and 1820 they lived in Clay County, Kentucky.

1830, 1840 and 1850 Elizabeth lived in Clay County, Kentucky.

1860 she lived with her daughter in Jackson Co., Missouri.

Patience Owsley Bledsoe married Henry Jackson Clark.  They had a son Joseph Henry Clark. 

Patience died 3 FEB 1899 in Jackson Co., KY
