She married Dr. William Augustus Knox (born in 1832) in 1855 and the couple had 5 children who all died in infancy. The couple resided in Virden Illinois and Chicago Illinois before moving to Brooklyn New York. later they returned to Illinois to be closer to family. He became a substantial landholder in Illinois (see Ancestry.com listings) Aparently they may have adopted? a daughter Belle Danolds, born in 1861. She appears in in 1900 census as a border and in 1910 as an adopted daughter. In 1920 she is still living in his household. In the 1930 census she is shown living with her older sister. Georgiana was frail and her husband devoted much of his adult life to caring for her. Dr. Knox apparently had a keen sense of humor in the literary essays he authored and was member of Park Ridge Literary Society (Date: 1875-03-24; Paper: The Inter Ocean) In 1870 census her brother Edgar is living with Georgiana and William She is listed in 1900 and 1910 census but not in 1920 census. Her husband is listed as a widower. Georgiana died some time beween 1910 & 1920. Her husband died between 1920 and 1930.
